I haven't even left yet
I'm about to leave in exactly one one week. Trying to get all my packing stuff done. This is actually one of the tasks I'm about to check off on my to-do list. I will be out of touch for a few days after the 7th, and then I may be able to get online or call my mom or something. My mailing address for the first 2 months (remember there is a 14-21 day delay on me recieving it):

Kat!!!! I think you departed today from the states. Contact me in some way, sometime soon. I miss ya! Oh yea guess what?! I made a tres leches cake tonight and OH MY GOD...it was incredible. And took about 5 hours of my life to make. Anyways, tell your housekeeper thanks for the idea! Hope this message finds you doing well and getting settled!

Katheryn, Dad and I just got home from Anchorage today. We had a good fishing trip but I thought about you the whole time and talked about you lots too! Shelly said that she had talked to you twice and that you were doing good. Let me know if I have to send you anything. Oh, thanks so much for the new brush for Pixie. It works great. Love. Mom

Katheryn, It has been great being able to talk yo you. Your dad and I relate to others the stories you tell us. I can't stop thinking about the chicken. Don't think i'll be able to eat one for a while!!! We love and miss you. MOM
